Selecting a theme

A theme changes the appearance of the overlay deployed on a site. You can use themes to make Newired better fit the target application. If you want to know how to create a new theme or modify an already existing one, please check this article.

Each site on your Portal can use a different theme.
To change the theme in use, you need to access the Site Settings. You can do it in two ways:

• From the Portal, select the desired site. Then click on the Settings tab and select Site Settings:
  
  
  
  
• From the Editor, you can:
  • Press F7
  • Click on the Site name (up-right corner of the Editor) to open the menu and click on Site Settings
    
    
  
  

Once you are on the Site Settings, scroll down until you find the Overlay Design section. From there, you can see the currently selected theme (highlighted with a green border) and set another one. To do that, click on the theme you prefer, then press the Save button to confirm.

If the currently selected theme becomes unavailable, Newired built-in theme will be used instead and the theme icon in the Site settings will be replaced with a missing/disabled theme indication. If it becomes available again, it will be automatically selected and used again.
