Adding a Journey Link

Modified on Mon, 30 Jan, 2023 at 2:05 PM

You can launch a Journey in two ways: from the Launcher or from a Journey link which can be inserted in a Tip or a step.

Do it from a Tip: you need to open the Tip edit dialog in the editor and select the bubble icon (it is the same when doing it from a step):

A list of the available Journeys for that site will appear:

Select the Journey you wish.

In the same dialog you have an option to choose the step from which you want the linked journey to start playing. The list of all steps inside the selected journey will appear:

If you do not select a step, journey will be launched from the first one.

There is also an option to type a text to be displayed in the Journey link title (Text to display):

If you do not type any text here, the linked journey name will be visible to the user.

Once you save the changes, a colorful link will appear:

There are 3 possible colors for the link in the editor, as specified on the left, and how they appear to the end user, on the right:

The red link does not appear to the end user on the live site because the linked Journey is not available.

If you have a yellow link in the editor, it is also not visible to the end user. It will go green as soon as you mark that given Journey with the "Send to Publication" status, by clicking on the button shown below. The yellow link is to make you aware that the Journey concerned is under review and currently not live.
