The usage reports track usage of DAS as a kind of analytics. It collects data in a completely anonymous way. We do not track nor store the name or any other personal data of any specific person accessing the DAS.
To identify how many users are using the DAS, we generate an anonymous user token (technically, a web cookie) which makes it possible for us to differentiate whether it is the same user accessing the DAS or a different one. As the token is fully anonymous, we cannot backtrack who the actual person is, nor can we derive any personal data from it.
The usage reporting component is optional; however, as the data collected is anonymous and the report is very useful to improve user guidance in the future, we highly recommend our customers keep it enabled.
