If you have a support center created with Zendesk, from Newired 19.2 you can easily use your Zendesk content to create Newired content for your users.
By adding the Zendesk Guide plugin to Newired, you can simply place given contents from a Zendesk guide article into a Tip or Journey Step, without having to copy and paste the same content again.
You can give your users a preview or the whole information contained on a Zendesk article, optimizing support and offering all the guidance they need at one place - they will no longer need to browse from the application to the support center, forth and back.
How to use Zendesk Guide
Using the Zendesk guide plugin is very simple. First, you need to activate it on the plugin tab, on Newired Portal.
Then, while using the editor, follow these steps:
Take a url of an article insert it by clicking on "Insert" - "Zendesk Article":
- Specify the number of article paragraphs to be displayed to the end user:
Decide the maximal height of the article to be shown on your Newired Tip or Journey Step:
Decide how tall your Zendesk guide Tip/ Journey Step should be. Is it visible and understandable for your reader? Newired allows the author to create bubbles with different heights, which can adapt to the text size.
After that, the end user will see the content on a Tip or Journey Step, as below. If they wish, they can click on "Read more" to see the full article:
