Adding new steps
Every Journey consists of one or more Steps. A Step can be associated with a visual element on the Site page, or it can be a popup (modal) dialog.
You can add steps in different ways. This is how you add steps from the Editor menu:
-
Add the first Step in a new Journey
2. Insert a new Step after an existing Step
3. Add a new Step to a set of existing Steps
Defining next step
You can also specify the type of the Step that follows the current one you are defining using the selector button at the bottom of the dialog. The options are:
-
Next Step: This is the default. The next Step will be a page element type Step.
-
Next Modal: When selected, the next Step will be a Modal type Step.
This provides a shortcut for creating a new next Step directly from the dialog. A new step of the selected type will be started when you click the Save button in the current Step. You can optionally cancel the new Step.
