On the Autoplay tab, you can define simple or complex Rules to control whether or not the Journey will start automatically, and if it does, whether it starts only once during the session or every time the Rule conditions are met.
The Rule definition procedures and options are identical to those described under Visibility Rules. Again, the dialog always displays the result of the Rule conditions.
Play Option
In the Play Option section, you can choose between:
1. Only once: If the Autoplay Rules allow the Journey to start ("play") automatically, it will only do so only once during the user's session.
2. Always: If the Autoplay Rules allow the Journey to start automatically, it will do so every time the end-user's interaction satisfies the Autoplay Rule conditions.
If The Play Option is set to Always, after the second time the journey will end or stop, a window will ask the user if they wants to stop auto-playing the Journey, as shown below.
Testing autoplay from Editor
Journey designers can test Autoplay in the Editor application using the menu option Edit > Auto-play.
If you stop the autoplay of a journey from the editor, you can make Autoplay work again by clicking on Edit > Delete Newired Cookies (image below).
