Let's suppose you want to change the graphic style of Newired to better fit your web-application.
In order to customize your Newired optional graphic customizations, you need to access and edit two files: config.json and NW_user.css.
Keep in mind that these files will be overwritten on each Publication you make, either with the .zip package or with the delivery server. So make sure that you always keep a copy of them outside of the Newired environment with which you can restore your custom settings once you publish new Journeys/Tips.
The placement of these files will vary depending on the type of publishing process that you are using.
- with the delivery server , you need to have access to the server where it is installed, this may vary depending on your type of installation but the default path is, on Windows, C:/newired/content/site-id, while on Linux it is admin:///opt/Newired/content/site-id.
- with the .zip package, you will find them directly into the package if you unzip it.
Users can define only the position of the Launcher triangle in this file by editing the attribute "position" with these possible options:
All other options in this file should not be edited.
This file contains the predefined style sheets with all the attributes of the Launcher, Journeys and Steps that can be edited. These files have been conceived to provide all the necessary information: what each attribute means, the impact of changes, etc.
Please modify only the attribute VALUES. Do not modify the attribute the names, nor add or remove attributes.
